A 35 year old Devon man has admitted having a large hunting knife at a primary school.
Mark Bridgeman pleaded guilty at Exeter Crown Court to having a bladed article on the premises of a primary school in south Devon one day in July.
He also admitted having a knife in a street in Chudleigh, Devon, and assaulting a woman by beating her and causing criminal damage on the same day.
The court heard Bridgeman 'snapped' and is suffering from anxiety and depression. He has no previous offences.
He will be sentenced after psychiatric and pre sentence reports are prepared and was remanded in custody.
