A poignant ceremony is to be held in Exeter's Bedford Square on Saturday when the names of children killed in Gaza will be read out.
The event, from 12.30 to 1.30pm, is being organised by the city's Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
Campaign spokesman Lizi Allnatt said: "The naming ceremony will involve reading the names we have of children who have been killed, the latest estimate is over 200.
"It follows a decision by the Israelis banning a radio station from reading outthe names. We want to ensure the names are remembered."
On Friday the campaign will be joining with Exeter Quakers for a peace vigil for Gaza in Bedford Square from 4pm to 5pm.
