Tom Kinver has taken to his grandfather's bike to re-trace the route he cycled more than 60 years ago, from Northamptonshire to Topsham .
He will be following the same route, using the old roads, raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Tom's grandfather died last year after being diagnosed with the neurological disorder
Tom said: "He always loved telling stories of his time in the RAF and his adventures, racing his bicycle around the country.
"In order to raise awareness Motor Neurone, I have decided to use my Grandad's bike to re-trace a route that he cycled, more than 60 years ago, from Northamptonshire to Topsham, in one day, using the old roads he would have used.
"The money raised will be going to the only charity in England focused on Motor Neurone care, research and campaigning, Motor Neurone Disease Association (MDNA).To keep up to date with Tom's, Theodore's and John's progress Like: https://www.facebook.com/200miles4mnd or Follow: https://twitter.com/mncycle200 To Donate: https://www.justgiving.com/Tom-Kinver1/?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=fundraisingpage&utm_content=T
