An appeal has been launched following the theft of a mountain bike from a lock-up shed in Pinhoe's Thursby Walk over the weekend.
The bike belongs to Jay Frayne and was a present from his wife to mark his 40th birthday.
Mr Frayne said:"If any of your readers could help with any information which could lead to it being returned I would be very grateful.
"The bike itself cost £350 but it's the sentimental value that means more as it was bought for me as I cannot drive owing to my poor eyesight."
