A specialist rescue team was called in to rescue a man trapped by flood water in his car at Southbrook Lane, Rockbeare, near Exeter.
The team was joined by two Exeter fire crews. The car was found in flood water with one person still inside. The crews used wading poles and removed the vehicle to higher ground.
