Organisers of this weekend's big Chagstock Festival on Dartmoor have stressed that the event will go ahead as planned.
Chagstock Festival organisers have been made aware of rumours circulating online that this year's festival has been cancelled due to adverse weather.
But it has stressed that the rumour is completely false.
Si Ford, Festival Organiser, said: "We have absolutely no idea where these rumours originated, but we can categorically state that Chagstock Festival is NOT cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
"We are set up, ready to go and looking forward to welcoming thousands of people for what is forecast to be a generally sunny festival this weekend."
Chagstock festival opens at 2pm tomorrow afternoon. Day and weekend tickets will be available on the gate.
Lightning Seeds will headline the main stage on Friday night and million-selling alt-rock legends
The Waterboys top the bill on Saturday.
Weekend Tickets are priced at £75 (Adults), £50 (Under 18's),
Under 12's are free (ticket is still required). A Family Ticket for 2 Adults & 2 Under 18s is £210.
Camper / Caravans / Live-in Vehicles just £15 per vehicle
