The night sky over Devon was aglow as the Tiverton Balloon Festival took off in spectacular style with a dazzling night time display.
More than 30 balloons were inflated on Friday evening to kick off the popular festival which attracts visitors from all over the country.
The fire and light show was choreographed to music, alongside fire jugglers and a lantern processions.
Saturday and Sunday are the main days of the festival where visitors will be able to see dozens of balloons, as well a have the chance to talk to pilots and crew.
The scheduled activities on Saturday night includes stunt kite demonstrations, falconry displays, live music and a hot air balloon ascent.
