Hundreds of cyclists hit the roads around Exeter on Sunday to raise thousands of pounds for charity.
'The Nello' Century Cycle Challenge charity bike ride is the biggest fundraising event in the Force cancer charity's calendar.
Last year it raised a staggering £90,000 for Force, up £33,000 on the 2012 total, and organisers were hoping for a similarly successful result this time.
The first Century Cycle Challenge saw a group of 120 cycling friends and enthusiasts take on the 100 mile challenge in memory of local Topsham restaurateur, Nello Ghezzo, who died from cancer in 1999.
Their route – one of Nello's favourite rides around the Devon countryside – offers challenging hills, fantastic downhill sections and stunning scenery.
For 2014, the 15th anniversary of the ride, it has been re-named 'The Nello' in his honour.
Around 1,500 riders assembled at Topsham Rugby Club before setting off on either a 100-mile or a 100-kilometre route, finishing back where they started.
