A RETIRED plumber from Newton Abbot died of a drug overdose, the coroner has been told.
Leonard Alan Thomas, 67, of Raleigh Road, was found dead at his home address on April 17.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned by the Torbay coroner.
It was told that 'Len' suffered with several medical conditions for which he was prescribed medication.
When he died it was suspected he may have taken too many.
Tests have now confirmed that he died of a drug overdose.
