A 50 year old man has admitted stealing nearly £20,000 worth of healthcare items from his employers.
Graham Rust breached the trust of his bosses when he stole returned goods to the Alliance Healthcare distribution depot in Exeter, Devon, over a five year period.
Exeter magistrates heard he then sold on the products via the internet.
Miss Vanessa Francis, defending, said some of the damaged goods were unsaleable and were either given to charities or destroyed.
She said Rust was responsible for taking possession of the goods returned to the warehouse but he disputed the £20,000 loss to the firm.
Rust, of Rewe near Exeter, admitted theft by an employee and was bailed to appear at the crown court for sentencing next month.
