Exmouth held its annual kite-racing event this weekend as the British Kite Race National Championship came to the town.
Steph Bridge, owner of Edge Watersports and four-time world race champion, said earlier this year that the popularity of the Edge Race Cup made it the perfect choice for hosting the national championships.
"I'm thrilled that Exmouth has been recognised for such a high-profile event," she said.
"For five years participants have been drawn to our event from around the world. Once we were seen as training practice for bigger competitions, but this year we are the big one to train for!
"The event has some of the biggest names in the sport, but we also have open events to allow anyone who can kite-surf to get involved and see how well they do against the best in the world."
