Crews were called to a blaze in an Exeter home yesterday afternoon.
Two appliances from Danes Castle fire station were mobilised to a fire involving an electric fryer on Bonhay Road at 13:25.
The fire was out upon the arrival of the Fire Service.
Crews inspected the scene and made sure it was safe before leaving.
