A date has been set for the trial of a 46-year-old man accused of abusing a girl in Okehampton almost a decade ago.
Ian Gilbertson, who now lives in Telford, Shropshire, is accused of sexual offences against a girl when she was aged ten to 13 between 2005 and 2009.
He pleaded not guilty to assault by penetration, attempted rape, sexual activity with a child and three counts of inciting sexual activity.
Gilbertson was bailed by Judge Francis Gilbert, QC, at Exeter Crown Court and will face a trial before a jury at the same court in December.
