Exeter City's anniversary game against Brazilian side Fluminense has finally been confirmed, it has been has revealed.
But there's still confusion around the details of the trip. Hundreds of Exeter fans could travel to Brazil in the aftermath of the World Cup for the historic game.
Sources in Brazil have announced the match will be played on Sunday, July 20, between a Fluminense XI and an Exeter City XI.
But details of exactly where the game will be played remain uncertain.
Fluminense have a Serie A game at home to Santos the day before, so this will not be the first team to play the Grecians.
And it's also not confirmed which ground will be used or tickets prices.
The plan for the Grecians is to recreate an historic game in Brazil 100 years ago, which helped to launch the sport in Brazil.
A translation on the Fluminense website translates as: "It is with great pride that the Fluminense Football Club opens its doors to receive the Exeter City Football Club.
"Together, we will celebrate the centenary of the Brazilian national football team. The English team was the opponent of the inaugural match, held at the Orange Stadium on July 21, 1914, and will return to our ground for a commemorative match, to be held on July 20, a Sunday 2014."
It adds: "The details of this commemorative event will be announced soon. The game itself does not have the status of an officially sanctioned FA game, but hundreds of Exeter fans will come to the Exeter River for the occasion and will be received by Fluminense to know the Historical Stadium and the pitch, the scene of an episode that changed the course of Brazilian and World Football."
