Police are appealing for information after a walk in burglary in West Hill near Exeter.
During the afternoon of Friday 9th May 2014 a report was received of a walk in burglary at an address in the Westhill area.
No one was seen by the witness but it was believed to have happened around 1.30 pm when the occupier was in the garden hanging out the laundry.
Should anyone have information concerning the burglary or any suspicious activity in the area around this time they are asked to call 101 quoting reference KO/14/280.
Polcie are reminding people to remember to close, and lock your doors & windows, when you go out or away from your property to prevent opportunist burglars from taking advantage of any insecurities.
