Our pick of the transfer rumours from across Europe this evening:
1) Arsenal are leading the way for the transfer of AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli, reports The Daily Star. The former Man City striker has been linked to Spurs and Monaco but the Gunners are currently the front runner. The player is almost certain to leave AC Milan this summer and his agent Mino Raiola has hinted at Balotelli leaving Italy partly to get out of the media spotlight.
2) Louis Van Gaal has handed Manchester United a list of transfer targets, including Bayern Munich's Arjen Robben , according to The Guardian. Van Gaal is not expected to be confirmed as the next manager until next week but the Holland coach is reported to be pressing ahead with potential signings after liaising with the Red Devils' executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
3) Everton are after Tottenham and England winger Andros Townsend, according to The Mirror. If the reports are to be believed Roberto Martinez was keen to take the 22-year-old to Everton on loan last summer and now wants to sign him up. However the paper adds that Townsend is keen to remain at White Hart Lane.
