David Shawyer is celebrating his first year as franchisee of the High Street McDonald's in Exeter with the announcement of 20 new job opportunities at the restaurant, including management positions.
Since 2013, Mr Shawyer has grown his team by recruiting a further seventeen crew members and three shift managers, taking the total number of staff to 78.
Mr Shawyer said: "Since I took over the restaurant in Exeter last year, there have been many changes even in such a small amount of time but as a local businessman my commitment continues to be to my staff, customers and the local community.
Over the last year we added some fantastic crew to our team. We are a really strong team and enjoy taking part in environmental projects and lending our support to community initiatives.
"I'm delighted to be able to provide a further twenty job opportunities this year and hope those who want to take advantage of the career opportunities McDonald's has to offer, do."
