Two men from Exeter have been charged with manslaughter after the death of a 27-year-old man in the city on Saturday night.
Craig Melhuish, aged 38, and Colin Smith, aged 34, both from Exeter have both been charged with manslaughter.
They are due to appear at Exeter Magistrates Court this morning.
A 34 year-old woman from Exeter and a 41 year-old man from Exeter have both been released on police bail until 4th August 2014.
The man who sustained injuries during Saturday night's incident died yesterday evening at Derriford Hospital. His identity at this time is not being released prior to a formal identification, although his next of kin have been informed.
DCI Steve Parker, who is leading the investigation said: "This is a tragic incident and our thoughts go out to the family at what is a terrible time for them. It appears that the man sustained his injuries after falling from a raised area grassy area onto the pavement of Okehampton Road, Exeter. At this time we are working to establish the exact chain of events. The incident appears to have happened between 8pm and 9pm on Saturday 10 May 2014.
