BURGLARS got away with a huge haul of jewellery - including a Harry Potter necklace - after a raid on a home in South Molton, Devon.
Several unique items of jewellery were taken during the burglary at a property in Station Road.
The stolen items, taken between Saturday, March 29, and Monday, April 21, are of great sentimental value, and are considered to be irreplaceable by the owner.
A silver bell-shaped box with a fairy on top, a silver tie pin with a horse's head on the front, a silver and amber ring, a silver cat and mouse ring, sixteen silver £5 coins, a silver bangle with elephants around the outside and a silver ingot on a silver chain were among the items taken.
A number of necklaces were also taken including an antique white pearl necklace, a Harry Potter necklace, a green jade necklace with a ram pendant, a silver and turquoise necklace, an amber and silver necklace with an amber pendant and a brown necklace with green jade beads.
A range of official Harry Potter jewellery was brought out after the huge popularity of films starring the fictional magician based on the books by author JK Rowling.
Anyone with information about the burglary, or the whereabouts of the stolen items, is asked to call police on 101, quoting crime reference number CS/14/196, or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
