In the England Denny Cup Inter-club Championships, Ian Bond put one over ex-clubmate Rob Paxton 21-17 as Exonia beat Taunton Deane 81-74 to move into the last 16.
World bronze medallist Jamie Chestney beat Julia Amery 24-15 and there was a win for Kevin Phillips 24-18, but defeat for Nathan Farrant 12-24.
Exonia will play Mid-Glos in the next round on January 18.
Exonia's Chestney is skip for the British Isles Series at the Stanley club, Durham, in March 2014. Bond will play two to team captain Andy Thomson, with Devon's Sam Tolchard at three under skip Stuart Airey.
Exonia's new England under-25 international Joe Melmore linked up with clubmate James Hampton as Devon powered past Somerset 65-16 and into the semi-finals of the England Under-25 Inter-county Championships.
