Crediton's joint-manager Matt Trenaman won't be dwelling too much on his side's defeat to Sidmouth Town.
Crediton were against 10 men for all of the second half, but still managed to concede four more goals as they crashed to a 6-1 defeat.
"It was one of them games, we have got to just write it off and say it was a bad day at the office," said Trenaman.
"We were poor and they were better than us in every area, so I have got no complaints about the scoreline.
"We got fortunate in the fact that they had a player sent-off just before half-time with the scoreline at 2-0 and even then they came out second half and scored two quick goals.
"We just weren't at the races, but we can't read too much into it. We know ourselves that we were poor.
"It was the first time this season, where we have had to have pretty strong words after the game, such was the performances but In defence to my team it is the first time that has happened."
Adam Bilcock scored the Kirton's only goal with the scoreline at 4-0.
