Expert Logistics has created around 50 jobs with the opening of a new depot at Greendale Business Park, near Woodbury Salterton.
With its head office in Crewe, Cheshire, the company has been delivering appliances to people's homes for 30 years, with clients including Boots, Next, House of Fraser, B&Q, Argos and Screwfix.
Managing director Dave Ashwell said: "This move to Exeter enables us to grow our business, improve our service levels and client proposition and most importantly improve our efficiency. We are investing a lot of money, time and effort to ensure the environment is the best it can possibly be for our people."
Most positions have already been filled but the company will be holding on open day for potential delivery drivers at 10am on Saturday, November 23.
