Detectives in Exmouth say two or more men could have fled the scene of a town centre raid yesterday during which around 700 suspected cannabis plants were seized.
Following a call from a member of the public, at around 12.30pm, police response officers descended on a flat above an undertakers on Rolle Street.
They discovered hundreds of what they suspect to be cannabis plants worth thousands of pounds.
Two men, a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old have been arrested on suspicion of the production of a Class B drug, but more are thought to have fled the property between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
Police are now appealing to members of the public who were in Exmouth at the time of the incident to contact them if they have any information at all that could help them with their enquiries.
