EXMOUTH Town Council is giving away free trees to good homes.
As part of its Free Tree Scheme residents of the town can apply for six trees to plant in their gardens at home.
The silver birch, wild cherry, quickthorn, common oak, rowan, field maple and hazel trees will be ready for planting in February.
Support stakes and rabbit guards can also be supplied. All the trees are grown in the UK so there is no risk of spreading disease. All trees must be planted in Exmouth.
Application forms can be downloaded from Exmouth Town Council website www.ex mouth.gov.uk or collected from the town hall. Completed forms need to be handed in to the town hall by Monday, January 20. Numbers of trees are limited and are supplied on a first come first served basis.
