DAVID Wilson Homes will be putting the kettle on in Exeter later this month as it opens its doors for The World's Biggest Coffee Morning and bids to ensure that this year's event is bigger and better than ever before.
The Rydon Lawns development will be hosting fundraising events from Friday, September 27 to 29 from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
At Hillside Gardens and Rougemont Park the coffee mornings will be held on Saturday, September 28 from 10.30am.
Sales director Louise Ware said the Macmillan Cancer Support event is a key date in the fundraising calendar and the housebuilder is delighted to be inviting people to join in with the fundraising efforts.
"Cancer touches so many people's lives and the coffee morning is a great way for everyone to get involved in the fundraising effort.
"Last year more £15m was raised through the coffee mornings and we hope to be part of the effort to break that barrier this year."
She said the concept of being involved in The World's Biggest Coffee Morning has captured the imagination of everyone within David Wilson Homes.
Louise said: "Our sales teams are all keen to host events for visitors and those who have already moved into our development in Exeter."
David Wilson Homes staff will be inviting donations for coffee and cake and to find out more about the events log onto www.dwh.co.uk
