A WOMAN teacher is facing jail after having alcohol-fuelled sex sessions with two teenage pupils at her home.
Jennifer Philp-Parsons, 45, groomed boys and plied them with alcohol before having full sex with them.
A court heard she twice had sex with one of the 16-year-olds in May at her home in Exmouth, and a month earlier had sex with another 16-year-old.
Philp-Parsons, who was head of music at a Devon college, admitted three charges of adult abuse of position of trust by having sexual activity with a boy aged between 13 and 17.
Prosecutor Lyndsey Baker told Exeter magistrates court that the married teacher, who has children of her own, groomed some of her students.
Miss Baker said the teacher regularly gave one of the victims lifts to and from school and also took him to McDonalds for a meal and Costa for a coffee.
Miss Baker said the dark-haired teacher then invited pupils to her home where she provided alcohol.
"Both victims had sexual intercourse with her at her home," she told the JPs.
Rumours began circulating at the college and she made no comment in her first police interview.
But in a second interview Philp-Parsons, of Moorfield Road, Exmouth, "fully admitted having sexual intercourse with one of the victims twice and a second boy once. Both were 16 at the time".
Miss Baker said the aggravating features were that "there was a degree of coercion, the use of alcohol, a considerable age difference of 30 years and a breach of trust."
She said the teacher could expect a custodial sentence.
The teacher sat with her head bowed as the magistrates decided the case should be sentenced by a judge at the city's crown court next month. She was granted conditional bail.
A Devon County Council spokesman said: "We suspended this member of staff as soon as the allegations came to light. We will now be starting disciplinary action."
