Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale praised the performances of Matt Oakley and Matt Grimes in the 2-0 win over AFC Wimbledon.
Matt Grimes made his debut in the match, while Matt Oakley started having been out through injury since February.
Grimes and Oakley played well in the centre of the park, while new signing David Wheeler also played well setting up John O'Flynn for one of his two goals.
Exeter City move up to fourth in the table as a result of collecting seven points from a possible nine in the league.
