Thunder and lightning rocked Exeter and the rest of Devon last night, bringing with it heavy showers.
The extreme weather travelled up from Plymouth before hitting Exeter and the surrounding area. In Mid Devon temporary power cuts hit the region and burglar alarms could be heard ringing out around Uffcolmbe after a temporary black-out which also affected nearby Willand.Residents took to Facebook and Twitter to share pictures of the lightning, take a look at just a few of the min our slideshow below:
