A DUCKLING has been stoned to death on the River Exe in Tiverton.
A number of youths are believed to have killed the bird at the Salmon Ponds.
PCSO Rob Moss, based at Tiverton Police Station, said members of the public had reported a number of incidents of anti-social behaviour at the Salmon Ponds, near Bolham.
He said: "There have been allegations of a duckling being stoned to death, cows being harassed, fires being lit and people camping in tents. We suspect it is the same people."
Police are also investigating an incident of criminal damage at Westexe Recreational Ground where youths were seen pulling slates from the roof of a shelter.
