A THUG who armed himself with a giant spanner during a long-standing neighbours' dispute in Exeter has been jailed after he failed to keep appointments with probation officers.
David Bailey, 21, originally escaped with a suspended sentence for the violent incident in Kings Heath, which followed a series of arguments.
A Rottweiler dog was unleashed during the disturbance in which a group of men and women were filmed as they surrounded a house and brandished a variety of weapons.
Farm worker Bailey, who is now homeless but formerly of Galahad Close, Stoke Hill, Exeter, admitted affray and having an offensive weapon.
He was jailed for four months by Judge John Neligan who activated a part of an earlier six months suspended sentence.
