THREE people, two of them police officers in a patrol car, had a lucky escape from injury after a collision on a roundabout near the Morrison's supermarket off Prince Charles Road, Exeter.
Police said the driver of a silver Mitsubishi Charisma suffered a "medical episode" just before his car collided with the front of a Ford Focus police car.
It is understood the Mitsubishi driver was unconscious but later recovered. Neither police officer was hurt
The collision was captured on film by local resident David Tozer who said there had been a number of minor accidents on the new roundabout.
