The fire, police and fire service attended a multi-vehicle collision on the B3193 near Chudleigh today which left one casualty in hospital.
The fire service were called to the crash between Christow and Chudleigh at 18:41 this evening.
On arrival firefighters found one person trapped and used tools to cut the casualty free from a vehicle.
The casualty was removed from the vehicle on a long board and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The vehicles and scene was made safe and left with the police.
