A man extradited from Florida to Devon has denied 11 sex offences against young girls which date back to the 1980s and 1990s. David James, 61, was returned to Britain from his home in Orlando earlier this year to face a series of allegations relating to when he lived in the Honiton area. James, who emigrated ten years ago, is accused of sexual assaults on two girls who were under 16 at the time. He denies two rapes, six indecent assaults and three charges of gross indecency. All the offences are alleged to have taken place in East Devon or the Midlands from 1983 to 1995. He was remanded in custody.
