Exeter City v Bradford City - Match Day Live

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale is set to name Lawson D'Ath in the City squad for today's match. The 20-year-old has signed on loan from Reading, but having only played three competitive games this season it is not known whether the former Cheltenham Town loanee will go straight into the starting 11. A dislocated shoulder will rule Matt Oakley out and it is expected that Mark Molesley will start in the centre of midfield to fill that gap. It leaves a space out on the right side of midfield, which could be filled by Jimmy Keohane or Jake Gosling from the start of the match both of whom have been in good form of late. However, Tisdale is cautious not to place too much responsibility on the young players' shoulders so early in their City careers. "They both started the season as fringe players at best and they have graduated through the reserves and worked their way into the team," he said. "It would be very unfair to put the responsibility on them to play every minute of every game. I'm sure they would like to, but knowing what a promotion push is all about; the pressure you get, the decisions you have to make and the amount of know how you have to have, it is a big challenge for them. They have done very well to get to this point. I would hope that those two players (Jimmy and Jake) would be support for the squad. It looks likely at the moment as they are very much part of the playing team, it is going to be a big ask but sometime you are surprised how well players do and we will have to see if that happens or not." You can keep up-to-date with all the action from St James's Park, with team news expected around 2.30pm, by following live updates here:
