At around 3pm on Saturday the Fire Service received a call to a report of a barn fire in Feniton.
Three fire appliances from Ottery St Mary, Honiton and Middlemoor were mobilised, together with a water carrier from Danes Castle.
On arrival the first appliance confirmed that the fire was out, so no further appliances were required.
Crews used a hose reel jet to damp down.
