Police in Tiverton are appealing for information following a house burglary in Ellerhayes.
The incident occurred sometime between 2pm and 4pm on Monday 18th February at a house in Ellerhayes near Hele.
The property was entered by forcing a rear door and once inside the offender(s) carried out a tidy search and stole items of jewellery including:
*A plain gold, very narrow wedding band
*A plain gold ring, flat across the top and studded with diamonds
* A gold ring earrings, with floral pattern, a circle of sapphires with a diamond in the middle
*A wooden jewellery box with mother of pearl inlayed on the outside of the lid; this contained a selection of costume jewellery
* A bracelet constructed from old sixpenny pieces
* A blue H Samuels jewellery set box, containing a gold lady's wristwatch, gold bracelet and gold earrings (a matching set)
Police would like to hear from anyone who has any information regarding the burglary or has been offered any of the stolen items.
