The Environment agency has issued a flood alert for the rivers Otter and Sid and for the Exmouth Area.
A flood alert means flooding is possible in the area, the alert relates to Lympstone, Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Honiton, Ottery St Mary and Sidmouth.
The latest information from the Environment Agency said:
'River levels are slowly rising in response to the rainfall that has occurred this morning. Flooding of low lying land and roads is possible. Outbreaks of rain are expected throughout Sunday morning, which will become lighter throughout the day and into the evening. Monday will be a predominantly dry day.'Related:
